Today, I am typing this blog post from Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort & Spa, a 5-star resort here on the island of Cebu {where both hubby and I were born and raised}. My aunt has generously gifted our family with a one-night, two-day stay here... for which I am truly, truly thankful! (#860)
I do have to be honest and say that I am having a tough time enjoying the facilities... finding it hard to reconcile this luxury with all the poverty that lies just outside its walls. I don't know how quite to explain this feeling as I've never felt it before... simply put, it is a brand-new awareness and understanding of the things that break God's heart. Even though it has been a tough couple of days for me emotionally, it is a grace-gift! (#861)
We are on the last leg of this trip. As I continue to count grace-gifts, I am awed by the one thousand folds of blessing that God has allowed our family to experience...
