Celebrating 18 years today of being married to my best friend, the grace of my life and marveling anew at the goodness of our God... for He has gifted us with immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine!

With a grateful heart... for a Good God who gives good gifts...

As I continue to count grace-gifts, these are the things I am thankful for this week... #1445 - #1457:

:: 18 years of God's faithfulness.
:: Time spent with my parents who are visiting.
:: Getting this website up and running!
:: My boy having a great night go-karting with his friends from church.
:: Awesome exam week for my girl.
:: My girl's piano exam all done... and good lessons learned.
:: My boy being part of this movement.
:: A letter from Florianlyn.
:: My girl nominating me as "Mom of the Year".
:: Hubby's sister and her family visiting.
:: Volunteering at WonderJam for Compassion and seeing at least 25 children sponsored!
:: Shaun Groves' amazing appeal at WonderJam... thought-provoking!
:: Awesome Sunday with our church family!

Happy Monday, friends!
May you be looking forward, as I am, to an awesome week of marveling at the goodness of our God!
When I realize that it is not God who is in my debt, but it is I who am in His great debt, then doesn't all become gift?
Let's soar into this new week together, friends... let's do justice, love mercy and walk humbly!

Unwrapping more of His love in this world.
Act justly.  Love mercy.  Walk humbly with God!

  1. Happy Anniversary! Love the peek at your life together. I can't think of any greater gift than a man who holds your heart and chases the heart of God :) Celebrating with you! (I'm visiting from Ann's today)

    1. Thanks for dropping by & celebrating with us today, Alicia! :-)

  2. Happy (belated) Anniversary!! It's so good to be catching up with you again!! What a precious list of gifts! I have some Compassion letters to write on my list of things to do for this evening.

    As for the Mom of the Year, I feel like we're leading parallel lives -- except finances and location won't allow us to eat out, but cold cereal for supper? Yep, it works ;o)!! I do believe you would still qualify for mom of the year because I know your children know your heart for others and how much you love them! That's what makes a great mom! Not what they had for supper last night :o).

    Blessings, my friend!

    1. Thanks for the encouragement, Deborah! So nice to see you around these parts again!!! :-)

  3. I just love these pictures. My eyes filled up! Happy Anniversary ( a little late). Also I am praying for your upcoming event. Wish I could join you and meet Ann!

    praying you through....

    1. Thank you, Teena! Appreciate your prayers... you really should consider coming to the event on September 29. I think you'll love Toronto! :-)

  4. Happy belated!!! I had chills looking at your pics! God is good indeed!!! Praying for a continued overpouring of His love onto u, ur marriage, ur kids and the ends of the earth!
