I Am

... a poem written by my daughter about herself.

I AM

I am kind and smart.

I wonder what the future holds.

I hear music that sends a meaningful message.

I see the diverse faces of this world.

I want to save the world.

I am a Christian and I love Jesus.

I pretend to fly.

I feel a warm feeling in my heart when I am able to help others.

I touch the piano keys lightly to make beautiful music.

I worry that I'll make the wrong choice.

I cry that war has not ended.

I am sometimes serious and sometimes crazy.

I understand that nobody's perfect.

I say, "There is always hope."

I dream that one day I'll change the world.

I try to always do the right thing.

I hope that one day poverty will be a distant memory.

I am happy and caring.

And that, my friends, is my baby girl!  She is all that, and so much more because she is God's Gal!

Unwrapping more of His love in this world.

Act justly.  Love mercy.  Walk humbly with God!
