Winterlude

This past weekend was the new long-weekend holiday called 'Family Day'. It was also my daughter's 11th birthday. To celebrate the ocassion, we headed off to our nation's capital to experience Winterlude for a few days! We stayed with friends and truly had a blast spending time with their family!

We not only got to enjoy the beauty of winter and experience the bitter cold by being outdoors, we also got the opportunity to tour the interior of the Parliament Building as there was an open house --- truly magnificent architecture!
