Compassion News

Earlier this year, I posted about Kaitlin's Wish.  Today, I am very saddened to report that Kaitlin has passed away.  What an extraordinary young lady she truly is!  Because of her selfless wish, over 40,000 people in Uganda have been blessed with clean water!

Donations will continue to be accepted by Compassion Canada to fund more and more water projects in Kaitlin's name.  To donate towards Kaitlin's Legacy, please follow this link.

Here's a video of an interview that 100 Huntley Street did with Kaitlin and her family... truly inspiring:

In other Compassion-related news, Compassion Bloggers are headed to the Philippines at the end of this month!!!  An introduction to the team can be found here on Shaun Groves' blog.  I am looking forward to following this team's journey given the fact that our family is going on our very own Compassion trip to the Philippines this Summer to visit our Compassion daughter.  So exciting... can't wait!

Unwrapping more of His love in this world.
Act justly.  Love mercy.  Walk humbly with God!

  1. It's sad that Kaitlin is gone, but good to know that she is no longer suffering. She certainly leaves behind a legacy of faith and love.
