Kaitlin's Wish

This week I came across Kaitlin's Wish.  Kaitlin is a Canadian teenager with an incurable brain tumour.  While she was granted a wish by the Children's Wish Foundation, she said her wish couldn't be about herself... it had to be one with a purpose.  This story pulled at my heartstrings... I am praying for Kaitlin.  As her sister said in this interview, their family has hope because of their faith (in Jesus Christ)!

With her Children's Wish Foundation wish, Kaitlin chose to fund a Compassion project in Uganda that would provide safe, clean drinking water for children and their families.  As a result, the Children's Wish Foundation provided enough funds to cover one water project.

Because Compassion Canada is overseeing 21 of these projects in Uganda at this moment in time, a campaign is underway to raise enough money in Kaitlin's honour to see all 21 water projects become a reality.  At the time of this blog post, 8 of the 21 water projects (maybe even more!) have already been funded!!!

Would you consider being a part of making Kaitlin's Wish become a reality and making the world a better place for many Ugandan children and their families at the same time?  If so, please click on this link to make a financial donation.  Thank you, my friends!

This is our family's way of practicing Micah 6:8 this week!  We are...

Unwrapping more of His love in this world.
Act justly.  Love mercy.  Walk humbly with God!
