Praying for Team Haiti: Day 30

Team Haiti will be home later today because of a missed flight connection! I continue to pray for safety as they complete their last leg of flying and driving!

Today I pray for rest, renewal and refueling as they prepare to get back into "routine" tomorrow and face a new week here at home.  Although... somehow, I think that "routine" will never be the same again for Team Haiti!

As each team member debrief from this awesome experience... I pray that each one will be able to process what it is that God has taught them through this mission trip; that each team member will act on that life lesson; that lives will now be lived even more meaningfully and purposefully; that minds have been renewed and hearts have been changed --- into living sacrifices!  As the Apostle Paul writes...
So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.  --- Romans 12:1-2 (The Message)
