Praying for Team Haiti: Day 23

... love never fails, joy cometh, peace rules, patience waits, kindness tenders, goodness does, faith fights, gentleness bows, self-control stops.  These are the fruit of the Spirit as written in Galatians 5:22-23.

Today, I pray SELF CONTROL for Team Haiti.  Self-control is allowing God to be in control of lives and seeking the Spirit to enable us.  As Team Haiti heads into Baie d'Orange today, I pray that they will be ever mindful of God's presence; allowing the Holy Spirit to control their wills and their hearts; being expectant of the Holy Spirit's enabling so that they can do the things that God has laid upon their hearts to accomplish in Baie d'Orange.

Today, Team Haiti will be attending church!  I pray that they will be blessed by seeing firsthand the faith of the Haitian people!

I also pray for safety as they travel by land from Port-au-Prince to Baie d'Orange tomorrow.
But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. --- 1 Thessalonians 5:8 (NIV)
The Lord will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. --- Psalm 121:7-8 (NIV)
Update: Here's an update of what is in store for the first full day directly from Team Haiti.
